Style, fees, timings, how it all works. If your question is not here, simply write to me.
Two things matter above all. First the style: watch full films, not just trailers — if something moves you in someone else's film, that is a good sign for your own. Then the human connection: we will spend a whole day together, often one of the most intimate of your life. You need to feel at ease with me before we even discuss the film.
No — I am a filmmaker, not a photographer. They are two different crafts, and I believe each deserves someone's full attention. I do work alongside photographers whose work I admire, and I am glad to recommend them.
The fee depends mainly on how long I am present on the day, which in turn determines the editing time behind it. Rather than a fixed price list, I build a proposal for your wedding and your budget after a first conversation.
Once you get in touch, I confirm quickly whether I am free on your date. We then arrange a meeting, in person or online, to get to know each other and understand your wedding — and to make sure, on both sides, that I am the right person to tell it. I then send you a tailored proposal, with a 30% deposit to hold the date. A few weeks before the day, we speak again to settle the final details.
Colour grading is an integral part of the film: the choice of colours, contrast and light carries a great deal of the emotion. My approach stays true to the real atmosphere of your day, while making it warmer and even more vivid. If this matters to you, I'm always glad to discuss it beforehand, so we agree on a look you'll love, in keeping with my style.
A deliberately limited number. It is the only way to give each film the time it deserves, from the location scout to the final colour pass.
The French Alps and Geneva are my two home bases, but I travel throughout France, Switzerland and beyond — I go where your wedding takes place.
Yes. I work regularly with international couples, and the whole process — from our first conversation to the delivery of your film — can take place in English.
Editing is the longest and most demanding part of my work — it is where the story of your film truly takes shape. I treat every shot the way you would treat every word of a text, to build a real cinematic arc: the same standard I hold for my short films. I choose quality and emotion over speed, so allow between two and four months.
The length depends on how long I spend at the wedding, generally between four and eight minutes. Over the years this has proved the right duration — neither too short nor too long. A longer edit is possible as an extra.
Yes, as an option: I hold a professional drone pilot licence, which lets me film entirely within the law. It is offered in addition to the film rather than included automatically.
Yes — it's an option I call "archives": the entire raw footage from your wedding, in addition to the edited film. Some couples enjoy being able to revisit moments the edit didn't keep.
That has never happened to me. But in case of force majeure, I can call on a trusted network of fellow filmmakers able to step in on the day. If no solution suits you, your deposit is refunded in full.
If the wedding is cancelled or postponed less than 12 months before the date, the deposit is kept. Beyond 12 months, it is refunded in full.
